Our lead residential property solicitor, Brian Vincent, has over 30 years’ experience within the industry and previously ran his own SRA regulated firm for over 13 years. Brian has a wealth of knowledge and experience which helps ensure we can smoothly resolve any issues that may arise. Brian also works with two conveyancing assistants so that we can be confident all of your conveyancing needs will be addressed swiftly and efficiently.

How we work

Our team at The Jonathan Lea Network consists of employed experienced solicitors, trainee solicitors, paralegals and support staff, operating from our central office in Mid-Sussex.

We also collaborate with a wider network of remote based specialist self-employed solicitors through our secure cloud IT infrastructure. These trusted consultant solicitors are well known to us and work seamlessly and flexibly with our retained team.

We are therefore well set up for, and used to, working with clients from around the world without ever needing any in person meetings.

Fees

We want to avoid hidden fees and unexpected costs and that is why we value transparency from the offset with our clear and competitive quotes.

If unanticipated complexities arise, we will always forewarn you of any likely increase to our costs and get your written consent before exceeding any estimate.

The process

First off, we always offer a no cost no obligation 20 minute video call for all potential clients. This allows us to better understand the proposed transaction and your requirements. Following this introductory call we provide you with a detailed quote email for your consideration. If this is accepted we will send you our our formal file opening documents which will include a request
for money on account and instructions on how to use our simple online antimoney laundering ID verification tool. We can also take instructions on your behalf from an agent if you complete an
authorisation form.

Once instructed, you may have queries regarding the initial questionnaires or forms that are part of the conveyancing process and we will assist you with completing such paperwork. We will take care to update you throughout the transaction on the progress of your matter. Every case is unique and we closely communicate with you to ensure that you are aware of all the issues involved and also what is required from all the various parties at each stage of the process.

Your purchase

We will carry out all necessary searches and investigations to identify any possible issues that may occur with the purchase of your property and we will ensure that you are happy to proceed to exchange and completion, safe in the knowledge that we are acting in your best interests and with the benefit of clear and sufficiently comprehensive contractual documentation.

Your sale

We are here to provide expert advice relating to any potential road blocks that you may face with the sale of your property. Issues can occur with financial interests or restrictions registered against the property, however we will work to ensure that such matters are resolved quickly, so as to minimise any delay to your transaction.
