The Jonathan Lea Network Continues To Expand!
The Jonathan Lea Network welcomes two new joiners to their retained team and two new consultant solicitors.
We are excited to announce another two team members have joined the retained team at our head office in Haywards Heath. Adrian Samuel has joined as a Dispute Resolution Solicitor and Fathima Nizam as a Junior Accounts Assistant.
Adrian Samuel, Dispute Resolution Solicitor
Adrian brings with him over 25 years of expertise in litigation, including high profile and complex cases such as the Hillsborough tragedy and the Zeebrugge ferry disaster. His main practice areas are in employment, working with both employers and employees and dealing with disputes therein, complex bodily injury claims, construction disputes and professional malpractice. His experience and understanding adds enormously to our litigation department and allows us to offer yet more diversity in the numbers and types of cases we can take on.
In his spare time, Adrian is a keen opera singer and loves all aspects of musical theatre. He was also recently appointed as Chair of a charity that helps disadvantaged young people back into work.
Fathima Nizam, Junior Accounts Assistant
Fathima has just completed her BSc Business Management with Finance at the University of Brighton and joins us in the accounts department to put to good use her business and accountancy skillset within our busy team. Her hobbies include arranging and booking travel for friends and family, and heading to the gym.
In addition to growing our retained team, we have also welcomed Ali Guden and Ayla Karmali as consultant solicitors to the firm.
Ali Guden, Solicitor
Ali is a dual qualified English and Turkish lawyer, with offices in both London and Istanbul. Focusing predominantly on international dispute resolution, corporate and commercial law, regulatory compliance and business immigration law, Ali is set to assist us across Europe with our clients’ commercial and corporate law needs.
Ayla Karmali, Solicitor
Ayla is our second dual qualified consultant joining us this year, bringing experience from both England and New York from across a broad spectrum of industries. Ayla’s areas of specialism include Software as a Service (SaaS), intellectual property, licensing and distribution, franchising, and dispute resolution. We are particularly excited to have her onboard as a qualified franchise professional as this is a unique string to our bow and adds massive value to our client base.
Jonathan added “We are delighted to continue increasing the breadth of expertise across our team. We are committed to building a firm that offers a comprehensive range of areas of practice within the corporate and private legal sphere. It is important to us that our clients can come to us with any legal need and they know that we will have a dedicated expert at our fingertips to assist them with their legal matter. Our support team remains strong too and with the addition of a further junior assistant we have in place all we need to deliver a consistent and brilliant service to our clients.”
