Team JLN Hits the Pitch for Charity: Highlights from the Plus Accounting Football Tournament!

On Thursday 31st October Jonathan, Liam, Callum and some of Callum’s Hove FC teammates took to the pitch at Dorothy Stringer School for the annual Plus Accounting Charity Football Tournament!

Our highlights included a 5-1 victory against Acumen Law, a 3-3 draw with the eventual winners DMH Stallard (after we were leading 3-1) and a penalty shoot out win against a team that we can’t remember the name of (video proof of our penalties below).

Huge congratulations to DMH Stallard, who clinched the trophy for the second year running, triumphing over Plus Accounting in the final! 🏅👏

Most importantly, we’re thrilled to share that the tournament raised over £3,000 for The Clock Tower Sanctuary, an organisation providing critical support to young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or insecurely housed. This fantastic amount will help sustain their essential work, from facilities and activities to professional support services.

A massive well done to everyone involved – we’re already looking forward to next year’s tournament!
