The Jonathan Lea Network and Servo Private Wealth ‘End of Summer’ drinks reception
Last week we had pleasure in co-hosting an ‘End of Summer’ drinks reception with James Mallinson from Servo Private Wealth which didn’t disappoint. Despite the current COVID-19 restrictions the Rose & Crown restaurant and management team in Cuckfield successfully adhered to all the latest government guidelines. Although we were sat on separate tables, and socially distanced, everyone had a great time.
We welcomed our local MP Mims Davies along to the drinks reception, where she and local businesses had the opportunity to discuss a wide range of subjects and hear each other’s views, followed by a Q&A session with Mims Davies at the end of the evening.
James Mallinson, Chartered Wealth Manager at Servo Private Wealth commented “I know that many of the business owners in the room found it incredibly useful to hear from Mims about the kickstart scheme and I will be following up on this after hearing her insight. Chatting and networking in this way has been sorely missed, and we hope to be able to do more of this to get the economy and business moving again.”
Simon Brooks, Trainee Solicitor at The Jonathan Lea Network said “It was both enjoyable and refreshing to be able to go to a physical netwo
rking event and meet new people face to face. Special thanks to James Mallinson for co-hosting the event and to Mims Davies for coming along and answering questions posed by local business owners”.
Callum Richie, Trainee Solicitor at The Jonathan Lea Network added “As much as virtual networking has been useful, nothing will ever beat the relationships you can develop with individuals through physical networking and it was a pleasure to join James Mallinson and other local business owners in a very well-organised and socially distanced event. Thank you to
Mims Davies as well for providing useful insights into prospective schemes and answering an array of questions.”
We thank everyone who was able to join us and we look forward to our next networking event in October.
