The Jonathan Lea Network Attends The Sussex Chamber of Commerce Awards
We were delighted to attend the inaugural Sussex Chamber Business Awards Celebration, held at Buxted Park on Tuesday 20th September. It was a black-tie event so the team enjoyed getting dressed up for the evening! The event was well-organised, with lovely food and drink, which created an excellent opportunity for networking with the other attendees.
We were nominated for “The Equality Trailblazer” award. Unfortunately, this year we were runners up. Next year we hope to win an award!
Adrian commented “George, one of our paralegal team had easily the best DJ in the room and I am pretty sure there should have been an award for that!”
At the event there was guest speaker Perry McCarthy – the “Original Stig” from BBC’s Top Gear and ex-Formula One driver. He was an outstanding speaker with lots of interesting stories that covered his past racing career and his time on Top Gear.
Overall, the atmosphere was brilliant and everyone enjoyed themselves. We look forward to attending the awards celebration next year!
