The Rockinghorse Children’s Charity 12hr Swimathon

A huge congratulations to Jonathan and Kent for participating in the 12-hour relay swimathon on 2nd – 3rd October at the Sea Lanes, Brighton!

Kent swam from 10-11pm and Jonathan between 4am and 5pm in a water temperature of only 17 degrees.

Between them, they raised £460 for The Rockinghorse Children’s Charity – the official arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton. They fund and provide life-saving equipment, specialist projects, and enhanced services for sick babies, children, and young people throughout Sussex.

The money raised from the event is going towards a brand new Wellbeing Service at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.

A massive thank you as well to Amanda Hetherington and her team for organising the amazing event!
